Ultraviolet (UV) light, unlike antibiotics (antibacterials, antivirals and antifungals) and many chemical germicidal products, kills every known micro-organism based on DNA and RNA, including every known human and animal pathogen (disease-causing organism). Furthermore, there is no microbial resistance to UV light. Every micro-organism is and remains susceptible to UV exposure.
